The Cleveland Browns are interested in hiring Mike Shanahan for their vacant head coaching search, and have also received permission to talk to Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
Other candidates for the Browns job include former Jets coach Eric Mangini and Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo along with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels
