Latest On Favre To Minnesota

According to ESPN's Ed Werder, Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell held a personal workout for free agent Brett Favre in Hattiesburg (MS) last week.  Bevell put Favre through "rigorous" drills that included roughly 100 throws. Favre was reportedly encouraged by the workout, but still experienced some pain and inconsistency, and warned team officials about a possible delayed decision. Werder says Favre isn't committing yet because he wants to be sure his surgically repaired throwing arm can hold up for 16 games. Favre is currently six weeks removed from the procedure. Vikings camp opens July 30.  Watch for the 20th of July.  Vikings tickets go on sale that day.  Somehow I have a feeling the Favre signing will be around that date.
