The Giants announced late Friday that MLB Antonio Pierce will be out indefinitely after a bulging disc was discovered in Pierce's neck, according to rotoworld.com. He participated fully in practice on Friday, so this came as a bit of surprise. He had tests done at the hospital after practice when he was complaining of discomfort. The Giants D can hardly afford this blow.
